The country’s Economic Affairs Secretary Sibtain Fazal Halim and US Ambassador Anne W. Patterson yesterday signed an agreement on the project funding, in the presence of the US’ Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan Richard Holbrooke.
The rehabilitation project will help improve Tarbela’s operational capacity, increasing its generating capacity by 375MW.
