Operating profit rose 2.7% to SEK28.58 billion in 2007. Profit for the year (after tax) rose 4.2% to SEK20.69 billion in 2007.
Operating profit for the fourth quarter of 2007 rose 24.7% to SEK6.75 billion. Operating profit for 2007 rose 2.7% to SEK28.58 billion.
Vattenfall’s total electricity generation increased by 1.3% to 167.6TWh in 2007. While hydro power generation increased by 4% to 36.6TWh, nuclear power generation decreased by 7.1% to 51.3TWh. Fossil-based power increased by 5.3% to 77.7 TWh, and wind power increased by 117% to 1.3TWh. Electricity generation based on biofuels and waste was unchanged at 0.6TWh. Heat production increased by 2.8% to 36.2TWh.
