“The same applies for the substation – the bidding process is still running,” Vattenfall spokesman said.
The selected turbines will be rated at 3 MW or greater.
Vattenfall bought the offshore claim to Dantysk in 2007 from GEO Gesellschaft fur Energie und Okologie mbH.
Dantysk project will be built 70 kilometers from the island of Sylt, near Germany’s border with Denmark.
