Mr Powers will report directly to Carlos Riva, Verenium’s president and CEO. Prior to joining Verenium, Mr Powers was vice president of global engineering at United Technologies’s carrier division. He was responsible for all engineering activity and strategy development supporting core innovation for the company.
Mr Riva said: Greg brings over 30 years of valuable R&D, manufacturing and business development experience from leading global technology companies.
