The order consists of a turnkey project including civil and electrical works, supply, installation and commissioning of 26 units of the V90-2MW turbine with a 105m hub height.

The contract also includes a VestasOnline Business SCADA system, a Condition Monitoring System, as well as a 12-year service agreement including the Active Output Management package AOM4000.

The AOM 4000 is a full-scope service contract, consisting of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and consumables, which offers solid risk management for customers.

Delivery of the turbines for the Gallo wind power plant is scheduled to start in the first quarter of 2012 and the project is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2012.

The wind power plant has a total estimated production of 173,400MWh per year, which corresponds to an annual emission saving of 56,500 tons of CO2 emissions.

The plant will provide enough electricity to cover the residential electricity consumption of close to 110,000 people in Spain.
