The service renewal contract includes the active output management package AOM 4000 for a seven-year period.
Vestas has delivered 296MW of Iberwind’s total wind portfolio, and only Candeeiros and Pampilhosa wind plants amounting to 225MW represent more than 32% of Iberwind’s total installed wind capacity.
The wind farms combinedly generate approximately 595,455MWh of electricity annually, saving the environment from almost 228,059 tons of CO2.
Vestas has also received from Iberwind an order for the Lagoa Funda wind project in Portugal, and this order comprises a full EPC contract for six units of the V90-2MW turbine, a 15-year service agreement and a VestasOnline Business SCADA system as well a condition monitoring system.
