The turbines will be installed in the Pomerian province with delivery is scheduled to start in the middle of 2013.

The 40MW project is slated to be operational in the third quarter of 2013.

The scope of the contract includes the supply and installation of the turbines as well as a three-year service and maintenance agreement under the active output management option.

Vestas Northern Europe president Klaus Steen Motensen commented that Poland is one of the key markets for Vestas’ global perspective.

We are very happy to be chosen as supplier of turbines for the Wicko project and we look forward to working in a close partnership with both Aldesa and Tauron and continuing the expansion of wind power in the Pomeranian region," said Motensen.
