The Danish wind turbine manufacturer will deliver eight units of the V112-3.0MW turbine for the Greneville wind farm, which will be located in the northeast of Orleans in the Region Centre.
Vestas will be responsible for the supply, installation and commissioning of the turbines, and the contract also includes a ten-year service and maintenance agreement including the active output management package ‘AOM4000’.
The Greneville wind energy project is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
The wind farm will generate about 71,000MWh of electricity per year, enough to cover the annual residential electricity consumption of nearly 45,000 persons in France.
