The contract will require Vestas to supply 11 units of its V126-3.3 MW turbines with a total capacity of 36MW.
It covers the supply, installation, and commissioning of the turbines at a community wind power plant in Lower Saxony, Germany.
VR Energieprojekte Dötlingen managing director Hermann Raschen said: "This wind energy project is a good example of a community wind farm with local participation.

The order also includes a 20-year full-scope service agreement (AOM 5000) and VestasOnline Business SCADA solution.
The wind turbines will be delivered in the second and third quarter of 2016, with commissioning expected in the third quarter of 2016.
Vestas’ 3MW turbines are available in five rotor variants, two nacelle configurations, multiple power modes, and 15 hub heights.
The turbine manufacturer has recently secured another contract from EDF Renewable Energy to supply 201MW of wind turbines.
Under this contract, Vestas will supply and commission 51 V100-2.0 MW and 30 V117-3.3 MW turbines in the US.
The contract also includes a three-year Active Output Management 5000 service agreement.
