The turbines will be installed at Marszewo project, which is owned by Polska Energia.

The supply includes delivery of 22 units of the V80-2MW wind turbine and 19 units of the V90-2MW wind turbine.

The contract includes supply, installation and commissioning of the turbines, a VestasOnline Business SCADA solution as well as a three-year service and maintenance agreement (AOM 4000).

Delivery of the wind turbines is scheduled to commence at the end of this year and to be completed in 2013.

Vestas Poland vice president Kim Søe said being chosen as the supplier for this large project order is part of the company’s efforts to provide Poland with more renewable and clean energy in the future.
