The CNG station is of the time-fill variety that allows fueling hoses to be connected to trucks and shuts off automatically once the trucks are fully-refueled.

The time-fill station is expected to generate 239 diesel-gallon equivalents per hour and is designed to refuel 47 trucks simultaneously.

Commenting on this development Vocational Energy president Scott Edelbach said that the new fuel station in Wisconsin will add to Veolia’s CNG-based operations in other states like Florida, and Illinois.

According to the company, the CNG gas station is both their first natural gas station in Wisconsin, as well as the first operational CNG station to come online in the state.
