Volkswagen plans to sell the small natural gas power plants together with Lichtblick, the German electric utility company. With the new power plants, Volkswagen is said to be exploring the energy market.
The company’s new power plants which consumers can install in the cellar of their homes, are reportedly capable of producing warm water and generate heating apart from power generation.
The power plants can be networked and can send power into the grid when it is required. The website reported that the plan is to replace at least two nuclear power plants by introducing power plants for home.
