W2 Energy has modified its SteamRay engine to run on compressed air up to 3600 PSI.

The AirRocket can power a vehicle and also convert stored compressed air into energy as in the CAES system designed by AzRISE.

Upon completion of testing at AzRISE, the entire CAES system will be installed and tested at the Tucson Electric Power site featuring Solon solar technology.

W2 Energy said it is currently completing a 65 horsepower version of the AirRocket to be installed in a high-end composite motorcycle which is being built in a joint venture with one of the major custom motorcycle builders in the US.
