The electricity produced from the 5MW solar project will be supplied to Gujarat Urja Vikas.
Avatar Solar director Falgun Dave said the company has awarded an EPC contract to Waaree Energies for the development of 5MW solar PV project.
"This Power plant would be set up in Gujarat Solar Park at Charanka, Patan Gujarat," Dave added.
Waaree Group chairman Hitesh Doshi said, "This project shall open new avenues for us in foreign market."
India-based WAAREE Energies manufactures solar PV panels, designs, manufactures, erects, commissions, and provides technical and maintenance support to wide variety of solar products, systems and EPC.
