The company has divested all of its oilfield service assets located in Westhope in the US state of North Dakota.

Ward Williston said it will remain an active exploration and production company in the North Dakota oil industry.

Ward Williston COO Nathan Conway said this divestiture allows the company to concentrate on increasing its proved reserves and production through acquisitions and field development.

The strategic plan for the company including various partnerships and joint ventures, incorporates an aggressive exploration and production plan for 2012.
