Satcon’s 20 1.5MW Equinox Prism Platforms will be installed by Western Wind and Lord Electric to power the photovoltaic (PV) plant.
Equinox Prism Platform is a utility-grade multi-megawatt solution, complete with factory-integrated step-up transformers, MV disconnect switches, and power conversion electronics.
The solution uses the company’s next-generation Equinox PV inverters with 98.5% peak efficiency, and all Prism Platform solutions include EDGE Adaptive Control Architecture.
The solar PV plant is expected to start production in March 2013.
