The new Paris-based entity, Wind Prospect Operations (WPO), combines earlier separate operations in the UK/Ireland and France/Germany.
WPO includes over 100 project firms with a total of 965MW of wind turbines and 85MWp of solar photovoltaic (PV) plants.
The assets managed by WPO have a combined value of more than €2bn and are estimated to generate € 400m in annual energy production revenues for its clients.
Apart from providing asset management services, WPO will also offer contract negotiation, performance audits, technical field inspections and insurance brokerage services.
The new entity will be led by CEO Barthélémy Rouer while Duncan Levie will lead delivery of long-term asset management services.
Wind Prospect Group CEO Euan Cameron said: "Combining the businesses, the management and the teams in this way creates an immensely strong wind and solar asset management platform with a global reach.
"It brings great advantages to our clients with portfolios spread in several countries by integrating systems and procedures for greater simplicity and efficiency."
