Called Wind Prospect Operations (WPO), the new entity combines previously separate operations in the UK, Ireland, France and Germany.

WPO includes more than 100 project companies, 965MW of wind turbines and 85MWp of solar photovoltaic (PV) plants.

The WPO-managed assets have a combined value of more than €2bn, and are expected to generate revenues of more than €400m annually for its clients.

The company said that the platform will strengthen resources and expertise, to offer a more streamlined service for its clients.

WPO chief executive Barthélémy Rouer said: "Our aim is to deliver high quality, flexible and cost effective services which meet the needs of asset owners, investors, lenders and insurers in all of their jurisdictions and across all renewable energy technologies."

WPO will provide full asset management services as well as contract negotiation, performance audits, technical field inspections and insurance brokerage services.
