Total project cost is estimated to be €30m and construction of the project is expected to start in late 2011.
Wind Works has made an initial payment of €100,000 and will fund €1.4m in development costs over the next 12 months.
This is Wind Works’ third wind farm in Germany and the company will hold a 50% equity stake in the project.
With this project, the company has now 30MW of wind projects under development in Germany.
EFI is a German wind farm developer and has developed over 1,000MW in the past 10 years.
