Under the contract, Wood Group will upgrade the combustion system from standard diffusion to DLN, on a Frame 9E combined cycle gas turbine with work set to start in early 2014.
Wood Group will manufacture and supply DLN combustion hardware, software and auxiliary systems for ZhongshanYong’an Electricity, helping the latter meet its emission and operational requirements and comply with upcoming NOx and CO emission regulations.
The company will also provide a turnkey solution including modification of the existing control system, and DLN monitoring and tuning services as a long-term service.
Wood Group GTS- Power Plant Services president Frank Avery said the company’s in-house engineering, manufacturing, and delivery provides a total DLN upgrade solution, and it is not dependant on any third party equipment or service provider to complete the work.
