George Brown’s role is newly created to lead by the company for ongoing focus on quality and excellence as Wood Group continues to grow its global capability. The appointment was effective 23 March 2009.
With more than 25 years of industry experience, Alan was most recently the managing director of Lundin Petroleum’s UK business where he played a key role in establishing the company’s capability to explore for, develop and produce oil & gas in the UK.
I’m delighted to welcome Alan to Wood Group Engineering (North Sea), said Les Thomas, group director responsible for production facilities. He brings a wealth of professional experience in all aspects of the oil & gas business and is joining the Group at a critical time for the North Sea when he can use his broad experience to shape our value proposition for clients.
