With advanced monosilane-based polysilicon manufacturing technology, the polysilicon plant with a designed capacity of 3,000 metric tons per year is capable of producing solar-grade and electronic-grade polysilicon through environmentally-friendly manufacturing processes.
Liansheng Miao, chairman and CEO of Yingli Green Energy, said: “We expect the successful startup of this plant to further strengthen our leading position as one of the world’s largest vertically integrated PV manufacturers. Fine Silicon will also serve as a key platform to improve our raw material quality, which is an additional guarantee for our high performance PV modules.”
Yingli Green Energy’s manufacturing covers the entire photovoltaic value chain, from the production of polysilicon through ingot casting and wafering, to solar cell production and module assembly.
