The family-owned, independent alternator manufacturer Mecc Alte has announced that Paolo and Mario Carraro are to be joint Chief Executive Officers, accepting to take on the role from their father Diego Carraro, who becomes the group President.
With a proud heritage dating back to 1947, the Carraro brothers are the third generation of the family to run the company, along with Elisa and Anna Motterle, who retain their places on the holding company’s board with Diego and Daniela Carraro.
In a joint statement, Paolo and Mario said, “We are a family-owned business, that places our customers at the heart of what we do. We have one goal: to be the most reliable partner for companies working in the energy field, serving the market with world class products and services. Our aim is to continue to be the ‘Power from within’ the systems that our clients design, build and install.”
Mecc Alte’s business is built on working closely with clients’ operations by providing a source of independent, responsive world class advice so that they can optimise their efficiency and be more competitive. Through the design, manufacture of industrial alternators and associated power solutions the company offers the best route to meet the power demands of the market.
Commenting on the board level changes, a company spokesperson said, “This decision has been taken in the deepest belief that it protects the company model of independence and neutrality in the market that has always marked the Mecc Alte difference, acknowledged by our present and future partners, and which makes Mecc Alte the largest independent alternator manufacturer in the world.”
