The conference program of the Forum held under the motto "Nuclear Technologies – Safety, Ecology and Sustainability" included a roundtable discussion sponsored by TENEX and Rosatom’s Department of the Lifecycle of NFC and NPP’s. It was devoted to innovation technological solutions in the lifecycle of nuclear energy in the context of sustainable development, and was attended by over 400 representatives from governmental authorities and international organizations, leading global nuclear companies, NGO’s and mass media. They arrived to the principle conclusion that nuclear energy possesses all the necessary prerequisites to become an environmentally friendly and reliable foundation for future global energy mix.
